Time seriously flies. It feels like just yesterday I was photographing Rachel and Joe's engagement session. We grew this incredible friendship from that day forward, and I'm so lucky to call these two my new friends. Their wedding day was at Shangri La Springs in Bonita Springs, Florida and it was such a beautiful day altogether. I'll admit, I cried behind the camera a few times watching these two say their vows to one another. One of my favorite things from their ceremony was them taking communion together, as their first official act as husband and wife. It was so beautiful, and there wasn't a dry eye in all the people who got to witness this. I'm so happy for you two, and thank you a million for having me there through this journey with you two. Cheers to many more years of capturing your love. Xx
P.S. Rach and Joe LOVE John Mayer just as much as I do, so heres a little John Mayer for this gallery. ;)
Long story short, Jessica & Brock met in highschool. He had the biggest crush on her, and tried time and time again to win over her heart. Jess and her highschool self wasn't too interested at the time, and friend-zoned Brock. Years later, after they graduated and went off to college, they met back at home one night over dinner with friends. Jessica felt different this time about Brock, and they ended up finally coming together. Brock had won her heart, and he waited for years and years for this moment. It's a real love story, and these two are now engaged and their wedding is in a few months. I can't wait for this celebration and to see these two say their vows.
Their engagement session was at this gorgeous park. & If you know California, you know it just ended its streak of a huge drought. It was amazing to see all the greens here around the park and Jessica's free spirit along with Brock's love for her, came out in all these photos. Plus, they're some of the most gorgeous and sweetest humans ever. You know the drill, press play & scroll. :)
Megan & Eric booked me for their wedding before I even knew I was moving out here, back when I lived in Florida! So when I had told them the news about me moving to Oahu, we were so excited to set up an engagement session a little earlier than expected. This was my first session on the island, and man was it magical. We all met at their house before the session and they got ready together, then we hoped in their SUV and drove out to Sandys.
This beach was super special to these two. It's where they've spent many days together. Surfing, watching the waves, dates on the beach, & hiking around. And we did just that. They showed me their special place, and I could see exactly why they loved this little piece of paradise. Love these lovers, and I cannot wait for their wedding later this summer.
